The  John Elliot Store in Agincourt was built in 1912. It was on the south side of Sheppard Avenue East at the CP Railway crossing. The building was demolished in 1962 for the construction of the Sheppard Avenue railway underpass.

The Cornell House on Kingston Road between Markham Road and Eglinton Avenue East as it looked in 1904.

Originally known as Scarborough High School, this building was located at Kingston Road and St. Clair Avenue East. It was renamed in honour of  Dr. Reginald H. King, the Scarborough Board of Education's First Director of Education.  The school was extensively renovated with little remaining of the original building except the entrance arch which now stands alone on the lawn.

Scarborough Bluffs, the inspiration for the name of the community.
